"I Care" Program
Community + Activism
I Am My Sista's!
supporting one of its own at a Breast Cancer Awareness event!
The IAMS Foundation cares about its community, and strives each day to make the places we live better.
The “I Care” program was created to ensure The IAMS Foundation maintains a consistent focus on improving our communities. When it comes to community activism, we don’t want to leave it in the hands of others – we’d rather do our part to help other organizations in their daily mission to tangibly improve our community.
One of our biggest partnerships is with Making Strides and The Susan G. Komen Foundation, where we take part in the Breast Cancer walksand races to help promote awareness in the community.
This engagement will be a yearly commitment for The IAMS Foundation, so stay tuned for upcoming dates to take part in our walk (or rides)!
The IAMS Foundation has served the community in multiple ways through he “I Care” program – providing healthy meals to the hungry, donating and serving food to local shelters, adopting highways, street cleanups, book clubs for elderly community, and even more. We will continue to perform these actions – as well as identify new ones – for years to come!
